Substitute resolution authorizing attendance at conventions.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that attendance of the following person(s) at the following conventions is approved, and the funds specified are authorized to be allocated from the Contingent Fund, such travel and reimbursement to be in accordance with policy guidelines set forth in Section 350-181 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances:
1. Five Aldermen (CC-CC) "Annual Congressional Conference, National League of Cities"; Washington, D.C.; 3/8-13/01; $9,000.00.
2. Six Aldermen (CC-CC) "International Council of Shopping Centers Spring Convention"; Las Vegas, NV; 5/19-23/01; $10,619.00.
; and, be it
Further Resolved, That Common Council File No. 000351, adopted July 25, 2000, be amended by deleting the amount of $14,744.00 listed under Item 1 and inserting in lieu thereof the amount of $15,107.00 and transferring said difference of $363.00 into subclass CO29; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish a separate subclass within the 2001 Common Council Contingent Fund (Account Number 0001-9990-0001-C001-006300) and to transfer the appropriation of $19,619.00 into Subclass C0xx.
