This resolution implements a footnote contained in the 2003 adopted City budget which states that money from the Economic Development Committee fund special purpose account is to be used for Common Council initiatives related to economic development, and for travel related to economic development by members of the Common Council.

Whereas, The 2003 adopted City budget includes a footnote stating that money from the Economic Development Committee fund special purpose account is to be used for Common Council initiatives related to economic development and for economic development-related travel by Common Council members; and
Whereas, It is the desire of the Common Council to ensure that these funds are expended in as productive a manner as is possible; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that money from the Economic Development Committee fund shall be expended for Common Council initiatives related to economic development and for economic development-related travel by Common Council members.
