This resolution provides that the Mayor shall serve as the City of Milwaukee's member to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission Board of Directors. The Mayor shall also designate a designee to serve in lieu of the Mayor, and an alternate to serve in the absence of the designee. Both the designee and alternate shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
BODY:
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that provision is made for selection of City of Milwaukee members to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Control Commission Board of Directors, pursuant to resolution File Number 970660, adopted September 23, 1997, whereby the City of Milwaukee approved participation in the commission:
1. The Mayor shall serve as the City's board member.
2. The Mayor may select a designee to serve in lieu of the Mayor. The designee shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
3. The Mayor shall designate an alternate member to serve in the absence of the designated member. The alternate shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
4. The City Clerk shall notify the board president in writing of the Mayor's selection of designated and alternate members.
