Body
Whereas, The claimant, City of Glendale, has filed a claim on behalf of its Community Development Authority, through its attorneys, Fuchs, Snow & DeStefanis, S.C., against the City of Milwaukee in an unspecified amount; and
Whereas, The claimant has agreed to settle the claim in an amount of not to exceed $37,500.00; and
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deem it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in an amount to be determined later but not to exceed $37,500.00, payable to the order of the Community Development Authority of the City of Glendale and Fuchs, Snow, & DeStefanis, S.C., in full and final settlement of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claims, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney, said amount to be charged to the Damages and Claims Account No. 636506, Fund - 0001, Organization - 1490, Program - 2631, Sub Class - S118.
