Recommendation of renewal with a 90-day suspension of the Class "B" Tavern license of Xavier G. Alvarado for the premises at 1556 W. Lincoln Avenue ("Texas Longhorn Sportsbar") in the 8th Aldermanic District. Written objections have not been filed by the licensee. Recommendation of nonrenewal of the Class "B" Tavern and Tavern Dance license of Arcelia Reynosa for the premises at 1338 W. Scott Street ("Club Guadalajara") in the 12th Aldermanic District. THE CLERK asked whether any of the following applicants or their Counsel were present. Mary A. Anderson not present. Xavier G. Alvarado not present. Arcelia Reynosa not present. ALD. PAWLINSKI moved to amend the Report and Recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses by deleting the provision for denial "unfitness of location" for the premises located at 1338 W. Scott Street (Club Guaradalarja). The motion prevailed. Ayes: 16 - Ald. Herron, D'Amato, Henningsen, Bohl, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Cameron, Scherbert, Sanchez, Pawlinski, Breier, Nardelli, Murphy, Hines and President Pratt. Excused: 1 - Ald. Johnson-Odom. Daniel J. Hauner Counsel and applicant were present. ALD. CAMERON moved that the Common Council do now resolve itself into a Committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing from the Counsel for the applicant relative to the foregoing matter and the City Attorney's Office. The motion prevailed. PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Attorney Jeffrey Murrell and Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrmimpf appeared and addressed the committee relative to the foregoing matter. ALD. SANCHEZ moved that the committee do now rise. The motion prevailed. ALD. CAMERON moved to amend the suspension from 45 days to 25 days. The motion failed. Ayes: 3 - Ald. Cameron, Scherbert and President Pratt. Noes: 12 - Ald. Herron, D'Amato, Henningsen, Bohl, Donovan, Richards, Sanchez, Pawlinski, Breier, Nardelli, Murphy and Hines. Excused: 2 - Ald.
