Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) to renew an agreement with Deer District LLC in connection with Special Assignment of Fire Department Officers at the Fiserv Forum. It further authorizes the proper City officials to enter into this memorandum of understanding for the period August 1, 2023 through July 31, 2026.
Body
Whereas, Milwaukee Fire Department Officers are trained in executing policies and procedures of the City of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Fire Department as exercised in the discretion of the City and the Fire Chief; and
Whereas, the Milwaukee Fire Department will invoice Deer District LLC monthly the total costs associated with the members assigned to Fiserv Forum events; and
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the attached agreement for the period August 1, 2023 through July 31, 2026 between the City of Milwaukee Fire Department and Deer District LLC commence in connection with the Special Assignment of Fire Department Officers, and subject to such changes as the City Attorney may approve in negotiation with Deer District LLC, is approved; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized to enter into this Agreement on behalf of the City of Milwaukee.
