Title

Substitute resolution related to increasing the reimbursable expenditure authority for the Department of Employee Relations in the Reimbursable Services Advance Fund.

 

Analysis

 

Body

Whereas, the Department of Employee Relations uses the Reimbursable Services Advance Fund to support the Management Trainee Program; and

 

Whereas, increased utilization of the Department of Employee Relations Management Program in 2024 requires additional reimbursable authority; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that $400,000 be and hereby is appropriated from the 2024 Reimbursable Services Advance Fund to the Department of Employee Relations; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That this appropriation is in addition to the $1,200,000 appropriated to the Department of Employee Relations by Common Council Resolution 230766; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish the necessary accounts and accounting procedures to carry out the intent of this resolution; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the procedures for handling and advancing funds in anticipation of reimbursable revenue be in accordance with those set forth in Common Council File 80-1513.
