This resolution transfers funds from Capital Improvement Projects titled "Howard Ave. Plant Sedimentation Basin Roof Drains", (Account No. 42-764-2423) and "Howard Ave. Plant Operator Office", (Account No. 42-764-2433) to Capital Improvement Project titled "North Point Dehumidifier Replacement", (Account No. 42-764-1915). ___________________________________________________________
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council, through the adoption of the Capital Improvement Programs authorized $100,000.00 for a Dehumidifier Replacement (Account No. 42-764-1915) at the North Point Pumping Station; $25,000.00 for Sedimentation Basin Roof Drains at Howard Avenue Plant (Account No. 42-764-2423); and $45,000.00 for a Plant Operator Office at Howard Avenue Plant (Account No. 42-764-2433); and

Whereas, The bids received for the dehumidifier project exceed the funding availability due to increases in construction and material costs; and

Whereas, The projects for the Sedimentation Basin Roof Drains and Plant Operator Office at the Howard Avenue Water Purification Plant have been eliminated due to the ongoing construction of an ozone facility at Howard, the remaining unallocated funds are available for other work needed for the Milwaukee Water Works facilities; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Comptroller be authorized and directed to transfer $19,200.17 from the Howard Avenue Sedimentation Basin Roof Drain Capital Improvement Project, Account No. 42-764-2423, and $43,351.81 from the Howard Avenue Plant Ope...
