TITL:
Resolution Authorizing an Addendum to the Building Lease Agreement Between the City and United States Cellular Operating Company (Cellular One). (Water)
ANLS:
- Analysis -

This resolution allows use of a slightly larger area of Linnwood Treatment Plant to accommodate the needs of Cellular One Company.

BODY:
Whereas, The United States Cellular Operating Company, formerly Westel-Milwaukee Company, Inc. and d/b/a Cellular One has been leasing space at the Linnwood water treatment plant, 3000 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive since July 1, 1994, per an Agreement authorized by Resolution 940353; and

Whereas, The leased space consists of an area large enough to accommodate a radio equipment cabinet 21 inches deep by 19 inches wide by 58 inches tall plus three antennas each 3 feet length, for which the Water Works receives $2,400 rental annually while assuming little or no cost, since lessor has a separate electric meter; and

Whereas, Cellular One wishes to replace its present cabinet with a new cabinet of dimensions 30 inches deep by 56.5 inches wide by 73 inches tall, and has submitted an Addendum to the July 1, 1994 Agreement for approval; now, therefore be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials are authorized to execute the proposed lease addendum between City and Cellular One substantially in the form as found in the attachment to this file.
