Title
Resolution relating to the use and Reallocation of Grant 2024 CDBG funds.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) to reallocate year 2024 CDBG funds that were originally reserved for the Social Development Commission but, due to on-going issues that will likely not be resolved in a timely enough fashion to execute year 2024 activity.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council approved CDBG funding for various activities to the Social Development Commission in the amount of $409,500; and

Whereas, CDGA will use $185,784 of those funds to apply towards the FY2024 reduction of CDBG award; and

Whereas, CDGA has identified $223,716 of funding still available; and

Whereas, CDGA is requesting authorization to reallocate the remaining Funds to the projects listed in Attachment A; and

Whereas, CDGA intends to fund the projects listed in Attachment A, subject to CDGA staff underwriting and review, now therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the reallocation of CDBG-FY24 for the activities listed in Attachment A; and, be it

Further Resolved, That funded agencies shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it

Further Resolved, that payments for CDBG costs incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved CDBG reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller; and, be it

Further Resolved, That except as modified by this resolution, the guidelines for handling the Community Development Block Grant Program set forth in Common Council File Number 74-92-5v are fully applicable to the Community Development Entitlem...
