This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
BODY:
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
7th Aldermanic District
N. 44th St. - W. Clarke St. to W. Center St. (SW17190338): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund -- $7,000)
8th and 12th Aldermanic Districts
S. 10th St. - W. Lincoln Ave. to W. Harrison Ave. WT41091360 (821-4698-3): Water main alteration. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $5,000)
17th Aldermanic District
W. Brown St. - N. 26th St. to N. 29th St. (SW17190337): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund -- $8,000)
All Aldermanic Districts
Sanitary Manhole Rehabilitation (SW17190329): Rehabilitating sanitary manholes. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund -- $100,000)
Sanitary Sewer System Flow Monitoring (SW17190335); and, be it
Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof.
