Minutes note: The court reporter was sworn in.
The chair inquired as to whether or not the members of the Common Council had read the Report and Recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Commitee, and any written exceptions, if filed, on this matter. All indicated that they had done so.
The clerk asked if any of the following, or their counsels, were present and wished to address the Common Council.
Carlos Cruz was not present.
Radcliffe Reid was not present.

Mehboob Lalani was present

Alfredo Garcia was present
Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council enter the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing the matter of Mehboob Lalani. There was no objection.
Mehboob Lalani was sworn in.
Mehboob Lalani addressed the Common Council.
Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf addressed the Common Council pertaining to this matter.
Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Committee of the Whole rise. There was no objection.
Ald. D'Amato moved renewal of the license of Mehboob Lalani notwithstanding the recommendation of the Utilities and Licenses Committee
Roll Call on the motion to renew: Witkowiak NO; Bohl excused
Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council enter the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing the matter of Alfredo Garcia. There was no objection.
Attorney Narciso Aleman appeared on behalf of Alfredo Garcia.
Mr. Alfredo Garcia came forward and was sworn in.
Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf addressed the Common Council pertaining to this matter.
Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Committee of the Whole rise. There was no objection.
Ald. Witkowiak moved to return the matter of Alfredo Garcia back to committee.
Roll Call on the motion to refer to committee: APPROVED unanimously
