Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

5th Aldermanic District

N. 113th St. - W. Meadowcreek Dr. to 200 feet m/l south of W. Sanctuary Dr. (WT430053003): Water main extension. (Developer Water Fund -- $10,000)

12th Aldermanic District

S. 15th Pl. - W. Odell St. to W. Mitchell St. (WT410051096): Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $10,000)

Various Aldermanic Districts

City Wide (ST280050100): General engineering for the Underground Conduit System Facilities in conjunction with 2005 Capitol Improvement Program. (Underground Conduit Fund -- $30,000)

City Wide (ST280050400): Digitized underground conduit records. (Underground Conduit Fund -- $100,000)

City Wide (ST280050200): Major conduit installations at various locations. (Underground Conduit Fund -- $820,000)

City Wide (ST280050300): Alterations and adjustments of underground conduit and manholes at various locations. (Underground Conduit Fund -- $50,000)

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
