Title

Substitute resolution relating to tuition benefits for management employes for 2007-2008.

Analysis

This resolution, effective January 1, 2007, maintains current tuition and textbook benefits for management employes as follows:

1.                     Allows up to the combined maximum of $2,400 in tuition benefits, laboratory fees and required textbooks during calendar years 2007 and 2008.

2.                     Allows up to $500 of the tuition benefits to be used for job related certifications or license fees per year.

3.                     Also allows up to the combined maximum of $2,400 in tuition benefits to be used for membership dues during calendar years 2007 and 2008.

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following tuition and textbook benefit levels for management employes are maintained for calendar years 2007 and 2008:                     

 

1.                     Up to combined maximum of $2,400 may be used for tuition benefits, laboratory fees and required textbooks during calendar years 2007 and 2008.

2.                     Up to $500 of tuition benefits per year may be used for job related certifications or license fees.

3.                     Up to combined maximum of $2,400 in tuition benefits may be used for membership dues during calendar years 2007 and 2008.
