This resolution authorizes the sale of a vacant, tax deed lot by the City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, The adjoining owners, Frieda Maddente and Leon J. Cox, with their properties located at 3214 West Fairmount Avenue and 3222 West Fairmount Avenue, have each offered to purchase part of the vacant, tax deed lot located at 3218 West Fairmount Avenue, Tax Roll Key No. 207-0195-4, containing 1,800 square feet each for use as green space for the amount of $270 each; and
 
Whereas, This vacant, tax deed lot is being sold in "as is" condition; and
 
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offers, the sale of said lot to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed property pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Offers are accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale of said lot and that the proceeds be credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 02-211-2700.
