Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable.  After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
 
1st Aldermanic District
 
N. Hopkins St./N. 35th St. - 60 feet m/l north of W. Congress St. (North Side) to Lincoln Creek (SM495040101):  Relaying sanitary and storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relief and Relay Fund -- $8,250)
 
16th Aldermanic District
 
W. Vliet St. - N. 57th St. to N. 58th St. (SM495040102):  Relaying sanitary sewer.
 
17th Aldermanic District
 
N. 9th Ln. - 150 feet m/l north of W. Center St. to W. Hadley St. (WT410041099):  Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $10,000)
 
Various Aldermanic Districts
 
Various Locations (BR100040101):  2004 bridge inspection. (Bridge Construction Renovation Project Account -- $150,000)

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
