Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of Administration, on behalf of the City, to enter into an agreement with the Milwaukee County Automated Mapping and Land Information System ("MCAMLIS") Steering Committee concerning the provision of professional and technical information technology services by the City's information systems organization, Milwaukee Information Systems. ("MIS").
BODY:
Whereas, The MCAMLIS has indicated its desire to reach an agreement with the City where MIS will provide professional and technical information services to the MCAMLIS based on the City's pre-established prices and such services; and
Whereas, The Director of the Department of Administration has determined that the agreement is compatible with the Department's needs and that such an agreement would be advantageous to the Department and the City; and
Whereas, An agreement between the MCAMLIS and the City has been drafted and is attached to this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Director of Administration be and is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement on behalf of the City between the MCAMLIS and the City, which agreement will be in substantially the same form as the drafted agreement attached to this file.
