Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $240,000 with the total cost estimated to be $3,500,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

6th Aldermanic District

W. Hampton Ave. - N. Port Washington Rd. to N. Santa Monica Blvd. (SM499260004) Installing bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $20,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $250,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.

8th Aldermanic District

W. Canal St. - N. 27th St. Overpass to W. Potawatomi Cir. (SM499260003) Installing bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $20,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $250,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2026 construction season.

City Wide

ADA ramps for 2027 High impact paving north-side projects: (ST216260106) Replace curb and gutter and sidewalk as necessary (Nonassessable High Impact Paving Fund - $100,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $1,500,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2027 construction season.
