This resolution is in response to a Common Council directive which requires the Commissioner of Public Works to determine any accruing benefits as a result of a vacation. The Commissioner, having reviewed the vacation, sets forth the recommended benefits and damages.

BODY:

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, on July 24, 1998, adopted File Number 971767 directing the Commissioner of Public Works to assess the benefits and damages in the vacation of the alley in the block bounded by E. Clybourn Ave., N. Jackson St., N. Jefferson St., and E. Michigan St. in the 4th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee; and

 

Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works is required by law to assess any benefits or damages accruing or arising from said vacation; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works has determined that assessment benefits and damages in the amount of $1,698.50 arise from said vacation and are hereby confirmed.
