Substitute resolution relative to the request for change in Activities and distribution of funds for 2000, 2001 and 2002 Department of Public Works, Street Reconstruction/Resurfacing Projects, Recreational Facilities Capital Account and Overlay and Sealing projects.

Whereas, The Department of Public Works received grant awards in the amount of $500,000 in 2000 and $517,000 in 2001 for Street Reconstructing/Resurfacing non-assessable projects, and
Whereas, The Department of Public Works has requested a change in activities for the remaining portion of the 2000 and 2001 CDBG grant awards to street lighting; and
Whereas, The Department of Public Works has also requested a change in activity for the 2002 CDBG grant award of $500,000. The department is requesting $350,000 in CDBG funds be allocated for Recreational Facilities Capital Account and the remaining $150,000 be allocated for overlay and sealing projects in the Street Reconstruction/Resurfacing Capital Account; now therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Community Development Committee on October 9, 2001 approved the change of CDBG funded activities; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the approved changes are for the 2000, 2001 and 2002 grant awards.
