This resolution grants permission to Real Chili of Milwaukee, Inc. for a sidewalk cafe' adjacent to the restaurant at 419 East Wells Street.
BODY:
Whereas, The applicant desires to place a 4-foot wide rectangular table and a 30-inch round table both with chairs thereby establishing sidewalk cafe' areas in the public right-of-way on the south side of East Wells Street adjacent to the premises at 419 East Wells Street; and
Whereas, Placement of the sidewalk cafe' areas within the public right-of-way can only be allowed through the adoption of a special privilege resolution by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Real Chili of Milwaukee, Inc., 1625 West Wells Street, Milwaukee, WI 53233, is hereby granted the following special privilege:
To establish and maintain sidewalk cafe' areas within the south sidewalk area of East Wells Street adjacent to the premises at 419 East Wells Street. The cafe' area west of the doorway shall be limited to occupy an area extending a maximum distance of 4 feet into the 10-foot wide fully concrete paved public sidewalk area and occupy space approximately 7-feet 8-inches in length, beginning at a
point approximately 120 feet east of the eastline of North Milwaukee Street and extending east. The cafe' area east of the doorway shall be limited to occupy an area extending a maximum distance of 2-feet 6-inches into the 10-foot wide fully concrete paved public sidewalk area and occupy space approximately 5-feet 2-inches in length, beginning at a point approximately 137 feet east of the eastline of North Milwaukee Street and extending east.
