Analysis

This resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute the attached Permit and Agreement document.

Body

Whereas, There are existing City facilities consisting of a 72 inch combined sewer in the median in West Wisconsin Avenue at a point 64 feet east of the east line of North 16^th Street, and existing underground conduit packages in various locations in West Wisconsin Avenue from North 11^th to North 16^th Streets; and

Whereas, Marquette University has requested the City's permission to construct a brick and concrete portal and light poles over said facilities; and

Whereas, The City will allow the construction of said portal and light poles in the public right-of-way area, subject to conditions stipulated in a Permit and Agreement document known as SA-2721 and UGA-2721; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to execute Permit and Agreement SA-2721 and UGA-2721, said Permit and Agreement being attached to this Common Council Resolution File Number 020521 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said Permit and Agreement document has been executed by the Commissioner of Public Works, it shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
