Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of South 16th Street from West Mineral Street to a point 150 feet south thereof at any time”
“On the west side of South 16th Street from West Mineral Street to a point 100 feet south thereof at any time”
Part 2. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On West Pierce Street from South 16th Street to South 22nd Street”
“On West Pierce Street from the west line of South 22nd Street to South 12th Street”
“On the south side of West Pierce Street from South 16th Street to South 19th Street from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm except Sunday”
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On West Pierce Street from South 12th Street to South Cesar E. Chavez Drive
Part 4. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-away Zones is amended by adding the following:
On North Prospect Avenue from East Juneau Avenue to North Franklin Place
On West Windlake Avenue from South 13th Street to South 16th Street
Part 5. Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by striking the following:
“On West Windlake Avenue from South 13th Street to West Lincoln Avenue”
Part 6. Section 101-27.7-11-b of the Code relating to Resident-Only Parking Permit is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of East Hampshire Street from North Shepard Avenue to North Marietta Avenue
On the east side of North Marietta Avenue from East Kenwood Boulevard to East Hartford Avenue
