Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in
various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-11-1 of the Code relating to No Left Turns is amended by adding the following:
On North 46th Street Right Turn Bypass at West Wisconsin Avenue Southbound
Part 2. Section 101-12-2 of the Code relating to U Turns Prohibited is amended by adding the following:
On West Morgan Avenue at South 9th Place Trucks Three Tons or Over Westbound
Part 3. Section 101-12-4-a of the Code relating to Mandatory Turn Lanes is amended by adding the following:
On East Oklahoma Avenue at South Clement Avenue Right Lane Must Turn Right Eastbound and Westbound
Part 4. Section 101-13-8 of the Code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by adding the following:
On South 35th Street from West Rogers Street to West Grant Street
On West Capitol Drive from North 87th Street to North 93rd Street
Part 5. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by removing the following:
“On South Shore Drive between East Estes Street and East Meredith Street at crosswalk”
“On West Orchard Street at South 22nd Street”
“On East Euclid Avenue at South Pine Avenue”
Part 6. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
On East Pryor Street at South Fulton Street Eastbound
On East Conway Street at South Williams Street
On East Homer Street at South Graham Street Westbound
On West Orchard Street and South 22nd Street in all directions
On West Scott Street and South 29th Street in all directions
On West Grant Street and South 31st Street in all directions
