Whereas, The street was last resurfaced in 1986 and is in need of rehabilitation; and

Whereas, This project is included in the Department of Public Works High Impact Paving Program; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and Village of Shorewood share jurisdiction ownership of the roadway and will share the engineering, oversight, and construction costs; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee will be the lead agency of the project design and construction; and

Whereas; The Village of Shorewood, pending Board approval, has agreed to 50/50 cost sharing for all engineering, oversight, and construction expenses; and

Whereas; The City of Milwaukee and Village of Shorewood have agreed to the scope of work and retain all responsibilities to the roadway; and

Whereas; Any cost overruns and/or changes in scope shall be approved by the Department of Public Works and the Village of Shorewood with costs divided equally; and
