This resolution authorizes the proper City officers to accept and execute an easement to the Wisconsin Electric Power Company to install and maintain electric service over, across and under certain City-owned land in order to transmit electric energy and signals for Engine House #35, located at 100 North 64th Street. _____________________________________________
BODY:
Whereas, The City is desirous of having electrical energy and signals transmitted to to its Engine House #35, 100 North 64th Street; and
Whereas, The Wisconsin Electric Power Company ("WEPCO") has agreed to provide such electrical energy and signals provided that the City grant it an easement to install, operate, maintain and replace underground utility facilities, conduit and cables, electric pad-mounted transformers, electric pad-mounted switch-fuse units, concrete slabs secondary power pedestals, riser equipment, terminals and markers, together with all necessary and appurtenant equipment under and above ground as WEPCO deems necessary on City property near the 100 North 64th Street location; and
Whereas, The terms of said easement agreement are set out in the attachment to this file and approved as to content by the City Engineer and as to form by the Office of the City Attorney; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said easement agreement be and the same is hereby accepted, and the proper City officers be and they hereby are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Milwaukee; and, be it
