Title

Resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development known as The Meeting House, located on the South Side of West Donna Drive and West of North 107th Street, in the 9th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution will allow for revisions to a previously approved freestanding monument sign.

Body

Whereas, Section 295-907(i) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variation to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and

 

Whereas, The first amendment to the detailed plan known as The Meeting House, was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on December 19, 2003, under File No. 020643; and

 

Whereas, The sign company, on behalf of the owner, proposes a revised 6-foot tall, 30 square-foot monument sign with masonry piers, that is consistent with approved sign standards; and

 

Whereas, The proposed freestanding sign is consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved plan and will not adversely affect surrounding development; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the minor modification to the approved plan allowing revisions to the previously approved freestanding sign is hereby approved.
