Substitute resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development known as Walton's Calumet Square, located at 7701 West Calumet Road, in the 9th Aldermanic District.

This substitute resolution will permit the Heiser Automotive Group to hold up to four special motor vehicle sales per year in the northeast corner of the Sam's Club parking lot.
BODY:
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variation to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
 
Whereas, The amended detailed plan for a commercial planned development known as Walton's Calumet Square was approved by the Common Council on December 21, 1990, under File No. 901099; and
 
Whereas, The developer proposes to use the northeast corner of the parking lot for the sale or lease of new and used motor vehicles up to four times per year and four days per sale; and
 
Whereas, The proposed use is consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved plans and will not adversely affect surrounding development; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to the approved plan permitting the sale or lease of new and used motor vehicles up to four times per year and four days per sale through December 31, 1999 is approved.
