Substitute resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development known as Walton's Calumet Square, located at 7701 West Calumet Road, in the 9th Aldermanic District.

This substitute resolution will permit the Heiser Automotive Group to hold up to three special motor vehicle sales per year in the Northwest corner of the Sam's Club parking lot.
BODY:
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variations to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
Whereas, The amended detailed plan for a commercial planned development known as Walton's Calumet Square was approved by the Common Council on December 21, 1990, under File No. 901099; and
Whereas, The developer proposes to use the Northwest corner of the parking lot for the sale or lease of new and used motor vehicles up to three times per year and three days per sale; and
Whereas, The proposed use would be consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved plans and would not adversely affect surrounding development; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to the approved plan permitting the sale or lease of new and used motor vehicles up to three times per year and three days per sale (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) through December 31, 1998 is approved.
