This ordinance repeals the sunset provision of the city's graffiti abatement program. The program, begun on August16, 1995, was to end on August 16, 2000.

BODY:

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part. 1. Section 275-35-6 of the code is repealed.

(Note: The provision being repealed reads as follows:

275-35. Graffiti Abatement.

6. DURATION. The graffiti abatement program established by this section shall be of a duration of 5 years from August 16, 1995 unless the common council determines the necessity for the continuation of the program beyond such period.)
