Minutes note: ALD. PAWLINSKI moved to suspend the rules and strike the Class "D" bartenders license application of George M. Maddente from the deny list attached to File Number 020701. The motion prevailed. Nonrenewal of a Class "D" bartender license for the following individuals: Derry L. Groce, Dwana M. Hall, Paul Leszczynski, and Cindy A. Rothe. The motion prevailed. The President questioned whether the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee in this matter and any written exceptions, if filed by the licensee? Derry L. Groce appealed. Ayes: 15 - Ald. D'Amato, Henningsen, Bohl, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Dudzik, Sanchez, Pawlinski, Breier, Nardelli, Murphy, Hines and President Pratt. Noes: 0. Dwana M. Hall, Paul Leszczynski and Cindy A. Rothe did not appear. ALD. DUDZIK moved that the Common Council do now resolve itself into a committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing from Derry Groce and the Assistant City Attorney's Office relative to the foregoing matter. The motion prevailed. PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Mr. Derry Groce and the Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the committee relative to the foregoing matter. ALD. JOHNSON-ODOM moved that the Committee do now rise. The motion prevailed. ALD. PAWLINSKI moved to amend the application of Derry Groce to a 20 -day suspension. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: 12 - Ald. D'Amato, Henningsen, Bohl, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Dudzik, Sanchez, Pawlinski, Hines and President Pratt. Noes: 3 - Ald. Breier, Nardelli and Murphy. ALD. PAWLINSKI moved to adopt File Number 020701 as amended. The motion prevailed.
