This resolution conditionally approves a final Certified Survey Map.
Body
Whereas, The Department of City Development received an application requesting the approval of a final Certified Survey Map (“CSM”) by GenCapEmem MLK, LLC; and
Whereas, It is the policy of the City Treasurer’s Office to hold approval of a final CSM until all taxes and special assessments are paid in full; and
Whereas, This final CSM is being undertaken as part of a public-private partnership between the City of Milwaukee and a private developer to facilitate the redevelopment of the Martin Luther King Library; and
Whereas, The outstanding taxes for tax key numbers 313-2001-110, and 313-2107-000 will be paid in full at the closing of the acquisition of those properties by the developer; and
Whereas, Section 119-5 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances allows for conditional approval of final CSM’s; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following CSM be and hereby is conditionally approved, with the conditions outlined in Attachment A.
