Title
Resolution relating to the 2026 Capital Improvement Program to provide funds for underground communications and electrical conduit improvements at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution provides funds for underground conduit system installation, replacement or alterations at various locations in response to communication and electrical system needs, and paving or other construction projects, and authorizes 2026 fund transfers for the general purposes indicated.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized to modify and install underground conduit at various locations; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Comptroller's Office is authorized to transfer up to $1,450,000 from the Underground Conduit and Manholes budget, Account Number ST280260000, to the general-purpose sub-accounts indicated below:
General Engineering

Major Conduit Installations

Conduit Alterations and Adjustments
Account Number: ST280260300
Manhole Maintenance Required for Paving Projects Account Number: ST280650400
Total 2026 Funds Authorized: $1,450,000

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer funds as required without further Common Council authorization, the total amount of such transfer shall not exceed the amount authorized in the 2026 Underground Conduit and Manholes Capital Improvement budget.
