Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Industrial Light (IL2) to Multi-Family Residential (RM7) on land located on the West Side of South Layton Boulevard and North of West Pierce Street, in the 8th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance corrects the zoning map where mixed zoning has been created either by a combination or division of a lot as required by the new zoning code that became effective October 1, 2002. This zoning change was initiated by the Department of City Development.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-501.1(b).0001. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded and described by a line 330 feet West and parallel to the west line of South Layton Boulevard, the south line of the Canadian Pacific Railroad right-of-way, a line 445 feet West and parallel to the west line of South Layton Boulevard and a line 16.81 feet North and parallel to the south line of West Evergreen Lane extended, from Industrial Light (IL2) to Multi-Family Residential (RM7).
