Analysis
This resolution approves the 2002 citywide affirmative action plan submitted by the City Service Commission to the Common Council, and directs all city departments and agencies to implement the recommendations of the plan.
Body
Whereas, Section 305-203 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances provides for the submission of an annual citywide affirmative action plan by the City Services Commission to the Common Council for review and approval; and
 
Whereas, A citywide affirmative action plan for 2002 has been submitted to the Common Council, and the Common Council supports the findings and recommendations contained in the plan; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council approves the 2002 citywide affirmative action plan attached to this file, and directs all city departments and agencies to implement the recommendations of the plan.
