Analysis
This resolution authorizes the release from hold of a $40,000 portion the 2002 Appropriation for the City Attorney's Office - Five Additional Attorney Offices capital improvement project deferred by Common Council Resolution 011615 adopted on April 23, 2002.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council deferred certain 2002 Capital Improvement Projects and Programs by Resolution 011615 adopted on April 23, 2002 in light of proposed reductions in state shared revenue payments; and
Whereas, The deferred projects included $252,000 of the $352,000 appropriation for the City Attorney's Office - Five Additional Attorney Offices capital improvement project; and
Whereas, The release of $40,000 of the $252,000 capital appropriation deferred will complete the project; and
Whereas, Common Council Resolution 011615 required that the Finance and Personnel Committee and the Common Council act to reinstate any deferred projects and programs to active status; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that $40,000 of the deferred $252,000 appropriation for the City Attorney's Office - Five Additional Attorney Offices capital improvement project is hereby reinstated; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller and other appropriate City officers are authorized and directed to take necessary actions to release the $40,000 of said project to active status.
