This resolution will result in the sale of a vacant, tax deed lot for assemblage with a physical therapy and rehabilitation center.
BODY:
Whereas, Patricia J. Thompson is currently developing a plan and assembling a financial package for the purchase and renovation of the building located at 4335 West Fond du Lac Avenue for use as a facility for physical therapy and rehabilitation of injured persons; and

Whereas, Patricia J. Thompson has made an Offer to Purchase the vacant, tax deed lot at 4329-31 West Fond du Lac Avenue, Tax Roll Key No. 267-0683-5, for $4,800; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development recommends acceptance of said Offer, with closing contingent upon the following:

1. Approval of final site plans by the Department of City Development.

2. Submission to the Department of City Development of firm financing commitment to complete the project as proposed.

3. Satisfaction of the above contingencies and obtaining all necessary permits and regulatory approvals within 120 days from the date of adoption of this resolution; and

Whereas, This property is being sold in an "as is" condition and the City of Milwaukee makes no representations or warranties concerning the condition of the property, including but not limited to soil and subsoil condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said lot to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
