Ordinance to establish a Development Incentive Zone on land located on the South side of West Juneau Avenue and the East side of North 6th Street, in the 4th Aldermanic District. (DCD)

This ordinance will authorize the City Plan Commission to review and approve site development plans within the area included in the Development Incentive Zone.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee ("Common Council") do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances ("Code") a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-81.0032. The zoning map is amended to establish the Development Incentive Zone for the area bounded and described as follows:
The area bounded by the centerline of West Juneau Avenue, a line 50 feet West and parallel to the West line of North 5th Street; a line 100 feet South of the South line of West Juneau Avenue; the centerline of North 5th Street; the centerline of West Highland Avenue and the centerline of North 6th Street.
Part 2. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-81 of the Code relating to the establishment of Development Incentive Zones, the Common Council approves the list of permitted and prohibited uses, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit "A" which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
Part 3. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-81 of the Code relating to the establishment of Development Incentive Zones, the Common Council approves the performance standards, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit "B" which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and make a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
