Title
Ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Local Business (LB2) for portions of land located on the North and South Sides of West Center Street and East of North 18th Street, in the 15th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This ordinance joins City-owned parcels to create a single base zoning district for a future residential development known as New Village.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-601.(2).0020. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area described and bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along North 18th Street, a line 120 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Center Street, a line 127 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 18th Street and a line 180 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Center Street; and
That area bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along North 17th Street, a line 150 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Center Street, a line 127 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 17th Street, a line 120 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Center Street, a line 70 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 17th Street and a line 125 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Center Street, from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Local Business (LB2).
