City of Milwaukee, Case No. 97-CV-0009822.

Whereas, FN 961945 adopted on 10/7/97 appropriated $10,000 from the Outside Counsel/Expert Witness Fund Special Purpose Account to hire outside counsel Fuchs, Snow & DeStefanis, S.C. for the purpose of bringing an action against the City of Milwaukee for alleged contributions due and owing the Policemen's Annuity & Benefit Fund. in Policemen's Annuity & Benefit Fund v. City of Milwaukee, Case No. 97-CV-0009822; and

Whereas, FN 980721 adopted on 9/23/98 appropriated an additional $5,000 and FN 981209 adopted on 12/18/98 appropriated an additional $5,000; and

Whereas, Billings by Fuchs, Snow & DeStefanis, S.C. through March of 2000 total $30,546.07 and there is a negative balance of $-5,546.07; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the sum of $6,000 be appropriated from the Outside Counsel/Expert Witness Fund Special Purpose Account 0001-1490-0001-S157-634001 to the City Attorney's Office for the purpose of paying the legal fees of Fuchs, Snow & DeStefanis, S.C. for representing the Policemen's Annuity & Benefit Fund at an hourly rate not to exceed $90.00 in Policemen's Annuity & Benefit Fund v. City of Milwaukee, Case No. 97-CV-0009822; and, ...
