Whereas, A petition was presented to the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee by Mitchell Investment Properties-II Limited Partnership and others on the 11th day of July, 1997 for the vacation of the east leg of the east-west alley in the block bounded by West Lapham Boulevard, West Historic Mitchell Street, South 9th Street and South 10th Street; now, therefore be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that said petition be and the same is hereby granted and that the following described portion of said alley to-wit:

That part of the southerly east-west 12 foot wide alley as platted in Block 142 of L. W. Week's Subdivision, a recorded subdivision, in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 6 North, Range 22 East, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 12; thence Southerly to the northeast corner of Lot 13; thence Westerly, along the north line of Lots 13 through 17 inclusive, to the northwest corner of Lot 17; thence Northerly to the southwest corner of Lot 12; thence Easterly, along the south line of Lot 12, to the point of commencement.

be and the same hereby is vacated for the reason that the same is of no public utility and the public interest requires the same to be vacated; and be it
