Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Memo of Understanding Between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Greenfield” for the cost sharing of construction for the asphalt overlay on W. Wanda Ave. and S. Melinda St. in the City of Greenfield.
Body
Whereas, W. Wanda Ave. was last resurfaced in 1966 and is in need of rehabilitation; and

Whereas, This project is included in the Department of Public Works High Impact Paving Program; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and City of Greenfield share roadways in this Subdivision and will share the oversight and construction costs; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee will be the lead agency for construction; and

Whereas; The City of Greenfield, pending Council approval, has agreed to undertake the construction work with the City of Greenfield paying for the portion within the City of Greenfield limits for all construction expenses; and

Whereas; The City of Milwaukee and City of Greenfield have agreed to the scope of work and retain all responsibilities to their roadways; and

Whereas; Any cost overruns and/or changes in scope shall be approved by the Department of Public Works and the City of Greenfield with costs divided based on jurisdictional boundaries; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2023; and

Whereas, The construction cost was approved in Resolution File Number 221600; and therefore, be it
