Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Department of Administration to enter into an agreement with the Steering Committee of Milwaukee County Automated Mapping and Land Information Systems relating to professional and technical information services in the continued maintenance of cadastral maps and street address database. Body
Whereas, The Steering Committee of Milwaukee County Automated Mapping and Land Information Systems (MCAMLIS) has indicated its desire to enter into an agreement with the City of Milwaukee that will extend provision of professional and technical information services in the maintenance of cadastral maps and street address database; and

Whereas, The Director of the Department of Administration has determined that the agreement is compatible and advantageous to the City’s need to maintain conformance with selected MCAMLIS standards in the Milwaukee County geodatabase format; and

Whereas, Common Council File 051467, adopted March 23, 2006, authorized the Department of Administration to enter into such agreement, and Common Council Files 061117, adopted January 17, 2007, and 071086, adopted December 11, 2007, authorized extension of said agreement; and

Whereas, The operation of this project from 1/1/2009 to 12/31/2009 would cost $83,652 of which $83,652 (100%) would be provided by the Steering Committee of MCAMLIS; now, therefore, be it
