Title

Resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Garden Place Senior Living, located on the South Side of West Donna Drive and West of North 107th Street, in the 9th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution will allow for revisions to the previously approved landscape plan.

Body

Whereas, Section 295-907(i) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits modifications to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and

Whereas, The change in zoning from a General Planned Development (GPD) to a Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Granville Park was approved by the Common Council on October 11, 2004, under File No. 040636 for construction of a senior living facility; and

Whereas, The landscaping contractor, on behalf of the developer, is requesting a minor modification to the previously approved landscape plan to enhance the courtyard area; and

Whereas, The revisions to the landscape plan are generally consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved detailed plan, will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the minor modification to allow for revisions to the landscape plan that were not previously approved as part of the Detailed Planned Development are approved.
