This resolution will vacate excess right-of-way at 4277 South 1st Place.
BODY:
Whereas, A resolution directing a report on the proposed vacation was presented to the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee by the City of Milwaukee on the 5th day of March, 1997 for the vacation of the excess right-of-way at 4277 South 1st Place, in the 13th Aldermanic District; and

Whereas, A resolution directing a report on the proposed vacation was passed by the Common Council on March 21, 1997 under File No. 961743; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the fee of $218.00 otherwise required to be paid to the City Treasurer is waived, and the City Treasurer is authorized to waive said fee pursuant to Ordinance 234 of the City of Milwaukee, passed July 11, 1961; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the following described excess right-of-way located at 4277 South 1st Place (the Northwest corner of West Bolivar Avenue and South 1st Place), described as follows:

The South 12.00 feet of Lot 10, as originally platted, in Block 6 of Assessment Subdivision No. 89, as a recorded subdivision, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 22 East. All of the 15-foot wide alleys, as presently open in Block 173 of Plat of East Half, a recorded subdivision, in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 29, Township 7 North, Range 22 East is vacated for the reason that it provides no public utility and it is in the public interest to be vacated; and, be it

Further Resolved, That as provided by Section 80.32(4) of the Wisconsin Statutes, such vacation shall not terminate the easements and rights incidental thereto acquired by or belonging to any ...
