Resolution approving Year 2006 Operating Plans for various Business Improvement Districts located in the City of Milwaukee.
Analysis
Section 66.1109(3)(b), Wisconsin Statues, requires that Business Improvement Districts submit annual Operating Plans for City approval. This resolution approves Year 2006 Operating Plans for Business Improvement District Nos. 11, 13, 15, 17, 20, 26 and 35 and authorizes assessments on taxable property within said Districts.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (”Common Council”) has created Business Improvement Districts in the City of Milwaukee and has approved their first year Operating Plans; and
Whereas, Section 66.1109(3)(b), Wisconsin Statues, requires that Boards of Business Improvement Districts submit annual Operating Plans to the Common Council for approval; and
Whereas, The Boards of Business Improvement District Nos. 11 (Brady Street), 13 (Oakland Avenue), 15 (Milwaukee Riverwalk), 17 (76th/Brown Deer), 20 (East North Avenue), 26 (Menomonee Valley) and 35 (Kinnickinnic River) have submitted proposed Year 2006 Operating Plans; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Year 2006 Operating Plans for Business Improvement District Nos. 11, 13, 15, 17, 20, 26 and 35 are approved; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Treasurer, City Comptroller, Assessment Commissioner and other affected departments are authorized and directed to collect and disburse BID assessments in accordance with said Year 2006 Operating Plans; and, be it
Further Resolved, That all City officials, departments, boards and commissions are authorized and directed to take all actions and provide such assistance as necessary to carry out the intent and purpose of this resolution and said approved Year 2006 Operating Plans.
