Resolution authorizing the issuance of street occupancy permits to Rowe Consulting LLC for construction activities at 1009 West Juneau Avenue, in the 4^th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes City officials to issue occupancy permits to Rowe Consulting LLC allowing them to occupy the south half of West Juneau Avenue from North 10^th Street going west approximately 220 feet.

Body

Whereas, Rowe Consulting LLC has been contracted for construction services at 1009 West Juneau Avenue; and

Whereas, Rowe Consulting LLC is requesting permission to occupy the south half of West Juneau Avenue from January 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020; and

Whereas, Rowe Consulting LLC will be responsible to contact all affected property owners and businesses informing them of the closure and the affected dates; and

Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the right-of-way while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue occupancy permits to Rowe Consulting LLC allowing them to occupy the south parking lane, traffic lane and sidewalk of West Juneau Avenue from North 10^th Street west approximately 220 feet from January 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020.
