This resolution provides the necessary authority to seal coat streets by contract at various locations within the City of Milwaukee. _________________________________________________________________
BODY:
Whereas, That seal coating various streets in the City of Milwaukee are necessary and in the public interest, and
Whereas, In accordance with the guidelines for the control of capital expenditures, it is necessary to establish a Capital Purpose Subaccount for the said projects; and
Whereas, Funds have been encumbered and thus set aside for the proposed public improvement; now, therefore be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to do the above described seal coating by contract, and the City Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to transfer $275,000.00 from account # 31-211-0001 which is available for subaccounts.
