Analysis

This ordinance repeals current code provisions authorizing the chief of police to offer sworn officers of the police department the option of purchasing their individually assigned sidearms for the sum of $50 when the chief determines it necessary to purchase replacement sidearms for sworn officers of the department.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 105-122.5 of the code is repealed.
