Resolution authorizing the Milwaukee Police Department to accept donations of equipment for use by the Sensitive Crimes Unit (Police Department).
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council passed File Number 930380 on July 6, 1993, an ordinance codifying the City's procedural guidelines regarding the receipt, appropriation and expenditure of contributions; and
 
Whereas, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, in partnership with Canon Corporation, has offered to donate new computer equipment to the Department to further support the Sensitive Crimes Units' work on missing and exploited child cases; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Police Department is authorized to accept a donation of computer equipment from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, in accordance with established City policies and procedures for acceptance of contributions.
